The Altar Guild keeps our brass and silver shining, makes sure the altar linens clean and crisp, and sees to it that the other vestments and hangings are kept in good repair. As well they organize, place, and care for the memorial flowers that decorate the high altar and the Lady altar most Sundays of the year.



A general meeting is held once a year for organization and business, and training and learning.

Although not a fund-raising group, the Altar Guild does maintain some financial resources to supplement the placement of flowers when there is not a memorial, and to pay for repairs to the sacred vessels, etc.

Note: Flowers do not normally adorn the altar during the seasons of Lent and Advent, and some Sundays are already designated for special memorial donations. To donate to the special memorial decorations at Christmas and Easter, please contact the Office (613-267-1163).
