Spring and Summer, 2008

March 23	EASTER DAY: The Sunday of the Resurrection	8 a.m. and 10 a.m. - Easter Day Eucharists
April 19	Saturday	Annual "NEW TO YOU" Sale, 8 a.m. - 12 noon, sponsored by the Parish Guild. All manner of clothing, shoes, purses, collectables, books, household equipment, trash and trinkets, and classy "junque". (Donations may be dropped off during the week preceding.)
April 23	Wednesday	Spring Meeting (A.G.M.) of St. James' Altar Guild Following the 10 a.m. Eucharist (Corporate Communion for Altar Guild)
April 27	Sixth Sunday of Easter	Annual Spring Concert of the combined choirs of St. James' and St. Paul's 7:30 p.m. at St Paul's United Church, Gore Street West. "Bach, Beethoven and the Boys" featuring music composed by Bruckner, Baker, Bach, Brahams, Batten, Byrd, Bradbury, Bairstow, Bonnet, Beethoven, Bernstein, Bolling and Burns! Tickets: Adults $10; Child $5; Family $25.
May 4	Seventh Sunday of Easter	Farewell Reception for Father Bill Simons 2 - 4 p.m. at St. James' (A donation of $10 per person is requested in order to make a presentation to Father Bill.)
June 15 (date to be confirmed)	Fifth Sunday after Pentecost	Annual Parish "Worship in the Park", 10 a.m. service, followed by a picnic in Stewart Park (hot dogs, munchies, dessert, beverages - all provided). [8 am Eucharist as usual in the church.]
June 29	Sunday, Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul	(Canada Day Weekend) Summer schedule of services begins: Sundays: 9 am - Eucharist (No weekday Eucharist on Wednesdays)
August 18-22	Monday to Friday	Vacation Bible School, mornings. More information to follow.
August 31	16th Sunday after Pentecost	(Labour Day Weekend) Last Sunday for Summer Schedule of services.
September 7	17th Sunday after Pentecost	Regular Schedule of Services resumes: Sundays: 8 am and 10 am Wednesdays: 10 am Weekday Eucharist
